Dear Jessica, here you’ll find all the information about cheese factories and the directions to visit them.

The Consortium of Parmigiano Reggiano organizes guided tours from Monday to Friday. To make a reservation send a request by fax or email at the Consortium at least 20-25 days before. The visits last about 2 hours, visitors have to be at the cheese factory at 8.00 – 8.10 sharp in order to follow the whole process of cheese making. On reservation guided tours of the factory and cowshed with cheese tasting and possibility to buy products;  cheese making tours are early in the morning. The price is euros 5.00 per person, parking facilities also for buses. Bus stop of the Parma-Lesignano line is 2,5 km away.

On reservation it is possible to join a guided tour of the cheese making early in the morning, it is also possible to have a tour of the farm and taste the products on sale at the shop. The factory is also a farm house available for accommodation. The price is euros 10.00 and includes guided tour with tasting. It is reachable also by bus with Parma-Salsomaggiore line, stop in Sanguinaro, the staff of the factory will meet you there to pick you up.
