Paseo de la Constitución is basically the main plaza of Baeza, and normally it’s filled with lots of teenagers and old people sitting on benches, kids playing on the playground, and just a lot of people taking their afternoon walk. Each side is lined with an arcade that’s filled with outdoor tables in the summer, but now is fairly empty since it’s been pretty cold here lately. The Paseo still gets pretty lively though, with the exception of siesta…which explains the lack of people in the photo. It might be one of my favorite things about Baeza. It’s such a small town that I was pleasantly surprised to find a public space as big and pretty as this one.
